This top-tier branded events, brand activations, meetings/events shop -- growing at a rate of 120% per year -- is looking to add a proven strategic hunter, presenter and closer to their expanding sales team. This well-established agency, boasting an impressive roster of Fortune 1000 clients, seeks a polished, proven pro based in a major U.S. market (Midwest or Eastern U.S.) who brings with him/her the kind of qualities they pride in all their team members: compassion, innovation, smarts, curiosity, drive. Management seeks an enthusiastic, uber-playful professional who seeks to reap rewards with an agency considered a leader in the field for 30 years-plus.

The new sales executive will join a growing team of highly talented sales and account management pros, and will be accountable for driving customer acquisition and individual/agency growth goals. He/she will work with a highly experienced marketing and account management team to continue the recent trend of rapid growth at the company.

KEY REQUIREMENT:

Minimum 5 to 7 years' successful sales track record within a leading experiential, meetings/events, promotional marketing, or related group. Recent annual gross sales in the $3-million to $5-million-plus range.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

These include:

-- Meeting/exceeding annual sales targets within his/her assigned region or verticals;

-- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to match company goals;

-- Articulating the agency's array of services, positioning the shop within the industry as well as against competitors;

-- Leading the sales process from planning/strategic stages to the close; leading and participating in the RFP and RFI processes, including qualifying leads;

-- Collaborating with internal teams throughout the sales process -- marketing, creative, logistics, finance, production;

-- Presenting and communicating/presenting effectively at the executive and c-levels.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 to 7 years' successful sales track record in the experiential, promotions, meetings, events or related; bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Must be a proven professional who has consistently met and exceeded targets. Powerful, persuasive presence and communication skills; proficiency with CRM, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, etc. Ability (and willingness) to travel. Strong relationships, strong existing/potential book of business.
