For decades, this independent agency has created award-winning business meetings, live events and environments, brand marketing strategies, digital marketing campaigns and field marketing programs for corporations nationwide. This shop brings highly innovative ideas to life for its clients... and has a lot of fun every step along the way. Now they're seeking to add a pro who can continue to move the creative needle while bringing his/her passion and knowledge to the office each day,

The new Senior Producer will possess a deep expertise in business meetings, live events, environments and will be the agency's product-line expert. The EP will manageaspects of projects assigned, working in concert with creative directors, designers and production departments.


5+ years as an Executive Producer of meetings and live events.


These include:

-- Driving innovation through project teams;

-- Developing positive working relationships with team members;

-- Developing strategic solutions that address clients' needs... and presenting/selling ideas to clients;

-- Adhering to established production processes, contact reports, budgets, vendor management, project debriefings, etc.;

-- Working with banks of freelancers, production vendors and resources in multiple locations;

-- Negotiating product resources.


At least 5 years in creative and solutions development as a Producer of meetings and live events. Experience in tradeshows and exhibits is a plus, as is other related marketing/production experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as communications, theater, design, fine arts, or business.

Mastery of skills and talents including:

-- Understanding the strategy and elements of productions ranging from simple ballroom/convention/arena-scale events to an understanding related technical elements including: creation and management of timelines and other production schedules, venue assessment and management, vendor management, experience with scripting and graphic production, understanding CAD drawings, experience with A/V integration, and the ability to manage the development of design, lighting, vendor selection/negotiation, local labor management (including unions), decor and logistics.

-- Handling budgets ranging from $100K to $3 million-plus;

-- Managing all key aspects of live events and meetings;

-- Interfacing with clients to manage expectations and deliverables;

-- Developing and managing line-by-line budgets;

-- Knowledge of the essentials of video, staging, live acts, multimedia, and brand experiences;

-- Experienced problem-solving skills relating to client needs and budget challenges;

-- Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
